Class A house Batteries Re-Install

I recently purchased a 2014 Bounder 34b and put it in storage for the winter and had taken the batteries out. Today I went to re-install the house batteries and realized I don't have a neg to neg jump wire for the dual house batteries. All I have is a pos to pos jump wire. Two other wires are the main positive and main negative which were in the battery compartment. I guess the question is should I have a neg to neg jump wire and if so that would mean the dealership or manufacturer didn't install it correctly.

  • Google "The 12 volt side of life" All about taking care of batteries and Hookup drawings.
  • Make sure you mark the positive and negatives if they are not already. Draw a picture inside your battery box for future reference.

And that's exactly what it looks like. The short jumper looks like it had jumped from pos of battery #1 to neg of battery #2. What about the other 2 "main" cables? One clearly looks like it goes to Neg of battery #1 which would make sense seeing as it is grounded. I then assume the other would go to Pos of battery #2
