class A license for a class A RV?
Just wondering if you need a special drivers license for a class A motor home.

Class A license is for trucks towing trailers over 10,000 lbs, when the combination also weighs more than 26,000 lbs, and for trucks towing more than one trailer, with a doubles/triples endorsement.
You can tow a single trailer up to 10,000 lbs with a class B license, which is required when the combination weighs more than 26,000 lbs.
Also, since you're in an RV, the license would not be commercial, unless your RV is used for commercial purposes.
This is under US DOT licensing requirements, which all states also follow.
I searched for any info on the above. I can only find DOT requirements for commercial drivers. Could you please provide a link for non commercial DOT requirements as you have stated?
