Class A rearveiw/ side veiw Cameras

I would like to replace a camera system. My coach Only has one in back . I was looking at e-bay Amazon. System I would like is a monitor that veiws all Cameras at same time split screen. So one left side cam and one right side cam one rear and one right at the hitch for hookup . Has anyone else installed one of these systems. If so can I get some pointers on the better long lasting brands. Or if its easyer then I think buy monitor that does 4 inputs and by what cameras I like for mounting ccd and night vision etc . any info be great . Thanks

  • I have a '11 Bounder with excellent side mirrors and side cameras. I use both. When moving at highway speeds I do use the outside mirrors more. If the turn signal is "On" then that side camera is "On" then I use it for a wider more detailed picture. Only 1 view at a time, not split screen. It is a built in Magnadyne system with the side cameras on the mirrors.
  • I am sure there are those that love side view cameras but after just a little while I discovered I preferred using the rear view camera and the side mirrors much better. That is just my 2 cents. Good travels!

Before I actually bought a class A, I was sure I wanted side cameras in addition to the rear cammera. After having had it for a little over a year, due to the excellent mirrors, I haven't thought about the side cameras in a long time. You'll see more out of the mirrors than you will the cameras. I think if you divide the screen into three views you will be distracting yourself trying to study the small pictures.
