Am considering a change from my 5th wheel to a class c or class a. Like the compact size of the class c and do not need as much room as we had in the fiver. Just wondering how many class a owners switched to a class c. Class c appears to be easier to maintain much like a truck for routine things.

The cutaway van-style Class Cs are easier to maintain, and of course maneuver. Ask the guy with the Foretravel what some of the procedures has cost into the thousands just to maintain the Class A, and it'll curl your wallet up! Much easier and cheaper going Class C or with the small Class A Mercedes-Benz Sprinter based turbodiesels, with their solid 16-mpg economy.
