Most P.C. models lack a big outdoor storage compartment so I get what you are saying. If not towing, consider a good trailer hitch storage box like this and you'll be all set. The right carriers have quality locks and are water tight too. All P.Cs have a 5000 pound hitch which the storage box works great with.
