I just changed a fuel line on mine (mouse chewed through it) and with the doghouse I was amazed at the access and ease I was able to do it. Like others have said the front of the engine is difficult to gain complete access to. Not sure why engineers though the tiny portal on the front caps of most gassers was enough to access anything. Someone must have been paying attention as some of the new ones (ACE, FR3) have dual swinging doors to completely open the front of the engine bay. With that design I have complete access to all sides of the engine.
