Caught in the snow on the Skyline Drive in Virginia! Taken at Lewis Mountain Campground on October 29, 2011. 8.5" of snow fell, temperatures dropped to 28ยบ, officials closed the park to travel. Sat tight for 2 nights, was able to leave about noon on Sunday and continue on our way. We survived just fine - better than many of the folks in family tents out for a camping trip on Halloween weekend! ST
