It really depends on where you are visiting, what you are driving, what you need for services and how fussy you are. We are staying overnight at an upmarket RV Resort right now. I talked with a family who parked overnight at the Provincial park campground down the road. He paid $41 for the night: no services at all. Just an outhouse. I paid $52 with full services, a pool, clubhouse, by the ocean etc. Last year we took the Ferry to Gabriola Island and stayed in a lovely and the only Provincial campground:$35 and no services and one outhouse. Could only use genset for two hours in morning to charge batteries. Sometimes, in fact often, the so called cheap Government camp grounds are not such a big saving. Depends where you are and what you want. I like my showers in/in the RV every day.
