Paint Rock at the NC / Tennessee border, showing the eons-old layers of sedimentary rock. The French Broad River is on the right. This isn't really a campsite, unfortunately. It's in the NF, but posted "No Camping". I was just parked there for lunch and loafering on a recent day trip.
