Phil,
Too much time can be a good thing... just got back from an 1,800 mile round trip {in the car} to visit friends in San Antonio. SA was fun but West Texas was a tad boring.
Nexus no longer makes the 23P Phantom which is a shame as we love ours. Now the smallest coach they make is the 25 and as noted it comes with a large slide, I have a friend who has one. As you know I am not a slide guy and our 23P is so roomy {7' of headroom throughout and 101" wide} it is not missed. I don't think Nexus even offers the E-350 as an option anymore but with the 25 footers being their smallest units I'm not surprised.
The most impressive hardware in the Nexus factory is their vacuum press. It is huge and used to build all of the walls sealing multiple layers together... no wonder the 35,000 BTU furnace and the 13,500 BTU AC both work so well.
Just about every Class C/B+ I have seen in the last couple of years comes with lots of plywood, particle board and veneer and often on rigs going for we'll north of $100,000. Kind of makes you wonder what else they skimped on. :h
