A buddy of mine has a summer place on an island. There's no electricity to the island so he installed an Onan RV genny he bought from a wrecked m/h.
Last time I asked (a few years back) the 4 digit hour meter had already rolled over, so hes got more than 10,000 hours on it.
There's also a lot of service trucks with them in it, they get a lot of use also.
