To each his own of course, but I would add have had our 24ft, 12 years and 65k miles and have no desire to trade up.
If one can live, without a rear bed, a 24 ft with no fixed bed is roomer inside, than a 27 with a bed, as that fixed bed takes a lot of space. I like a slide as well.
And two, you can park a 24 in a lot more places that a 27, like restaurants, stores, attractions. That extra 3 feet is going to hang out into the driving areas. Will a 24 will not.
Just my opinion, and what we prefer.
