Assuming the weights are within boundaries, you still have the issue of getting that vehicle down the road. We pulled an approx. 4000 lb Jeep for many years behind our V10 E450 and it did just fine for the most part. However, when we headed west and hit the elevations of the Rockies, that was a completely different situation.
Depending upon where and how you intend to tow, the V10/chassis "could" be up to the task.
