cleaning and protecting rv tires
Just finished cleaning (wash & wax) on the RV and was wondering what to use on the tires to clean, protect and put a deep black shine one them. Is it recommended to use the same products as on my cars, just asking?

- Stack me on top of the 303 Protectant pile.
MM. - I use Stallion white wall cleaner and stallion rubber dressing. Been using it since the 70's and has always done good on mine.
- The reason for 303's popularity is that it has no petroleum products in it...Armor All does.

The all do caution AGAINST two things: Any product that contains any petroleum products or any product that contains silicone. - I have been told and seen on many forum posts that the commercial tire dressings are not good for our tires. I do not know but from what I have read it seems that Dawn dish detergent to clean then wipe down with 303. No way to know for sure unless someone can find a tire maker to commit themselves.
- I used Armoral foam spray, no scrubbing necessary. They shined like new.

Yes, It's good stuff. - I'll jump the "x's" line and say...
303 x 303 - I haven't seen any complaints about 303 lately, but there was a time a few years ago people here on the forum complained that the 303 product caused their RV tires to crack early in their life. Because the rubber is really soft in a RV tire and the 303 reacted with it and hardened it, or something.
I always buy truck tires so never tested that claim. But...there you are.
