I just use the car wash/wax concentrate twice a year. No coating will stop the black streaks since these is cost by accumulated dirt on the roof, that runs down the sides due to moisture, etc. Some areas of the country will cause your roof to accumulate more dirt, and darker dirt, than other areas of the country. The wash/wax concentrate puts a coat of wax on the painted surface and helps to offer a little bit of protection from the elements as well as providing a waxed surface which may allow some dirt to wash off easily.
Obviously when washing the roof, you need to be careful so that you do not fall on the slippery surfaces.
The wash/wax concentrate is the ONLY thing that I do to my entire coach, twice a year. The paint looks great and since it is a high quality polyurethane full painted exterior, it already had UV protection. I do not do any hand waxing anywhere and feel that it is a waste of time on my coach.
