Try pushing it in and turning it.
If it is the CO detector in your coach, I think that it is hard wired and does not have a battery. They need to be replaced according to the expiration date stamped on the case. Mine was stamped on the back side and had to be removed from the wall to read the expiration date.
If this is the smoke detector, than it probably has a battery.
