MPG is what it is. If you drive in calm weather, flat land, and stay at or below 60mph you will get good mileage. If you drive in the mountains you mileage will drop. I have a 27' Class C with an 8.1L Vortec engine. Run about 11,500lbs and on our summer trip of 5700+ miles I averaged 9.7 in 13 Western States in all sorts of weather. I don't tow any vehicle and drive between 60 and 62. For the most part I quit worrying about mileage and just enjoy the trip.
