Coast to coast or Thousand Trails

We have had a Thousand Trails zone pass for several years. The key is if you have TT parks you want to stay at in the places you camp at. If you use the TT parks you will be money ahead.

We were members of TT for over 25 years. Real nice back then but we could not give it away last year. Annual fees are over $500. Good if you will use it more than 4 weeks a year. Maintenance has also gone down hill.

THERE is the key to the whole idea of memberships: If you don't or can't use the "benefits", having the membership is completely useless!
That is why I don't belong to any of them. Even for the three years that we were full-timers, spending 13 weeks minimum in one place, the memberships (including Good Sam) were pretty much useless, so we didn't join any, and allowed Good Sam to lapse. Being retired military gets me the same discounts anyway, quite often.

Once you have a home park can you join Coast 2 Coast at any time or at purchase only?

less coast to coast is doing something different you must have a "Home Park" before you can C2C. Thousand Trails is a home park.

Although I do not know if TT members qualify for C2C at this time. You will need to confirm.. Equient LIfestyles has made some changes in TT parks that have caused them to be dropped by some exchange programs. Since I do not use exchanges at this time, I do not know.

(C2C is an exchange program.. Your home park members can use other C2C parks, and members of other C2C parks can use your home park in exchange).

I would go with TT. Buy the zone pass for one year then walk away if you don't like it. We have been members for over 30 years
