Color bleed when waxing...

After cleaning the outside I thought I would try waxing a small area to see what the results would be. Well when the wax was applied to the different colors they carried onto the white, it does come off after some waxing. How can I stop this? Waxing 1 color at a time? As a side note the small section look pretty good to me.
