In California you can drive motorhome 70 mph, while trailers have 55 mph limit.
Toads are not considered trailers so this is gray territory, but I see motorhomes with toads doing 75 mph on daily basis.
Beside what was mentioned, when you travel long distance in 100F heat and you stop to use your own toilet, what temperature you will find in the trailer?
We raised 3 sons and having Class A for years I could cover 700 miles daily. Try to do that with trailer and 3 kids?
That said, once kids moved away, we are camping in luxury cabover camper.
Love the 320 HP in the truck while still making over 10 mpg beating Sacramento traffic.
