Bruce, that's a very helpful answer. Somehow looking at the photos alone the motorhome seemed stronger in construction than a travel trailer. I think I would prefer the motorhome depending upon the extra cost. That's still an open question in my mind. I can find class A motorhomes with the layout I want, but they look like luxury models and they price themselves out of my budget. Are there makes/models that are more affordable in class A motorhomes? The Thor Hurricane looked a little more affordable, but still a lot more than a travel trailer + truck combo.
