I don't think you can compare the two at all. It's like owning a 2000 square foot condo on the 30th floor of Trump tower or a 2000 square foot Ranch style in the middle of Illinois. It's really a matter of what you really want. No matter how you slice and dice it, the motorhome will cost more and is heftier built. But not every one wants to live in Trump tower either or invest the expense. Illinois isn't so bad. A large number of people live there and are quite happy, if you follow the thought here.
