Bruce, that's a very helpful answer. Somehow looking at the photos alone the motorhome seemed stronger in construction than a travel trailer. I think I would prefer the motorhome depending upon the extra cost. That's still an open question in my mind. I can find class A motorhomes with the layout I want, but they look like luxury models and they price themselves out of my budget. Are there makes/models that are more affordable in class A motorhomes? The Thor Hurricane looked a little more affordable, but still a lot more than a travel trailer + truck combo.
I dunno. I always wanted one or the other for such a long time. I checked on new TT's and new truck pricing to pull a TT and finally settled on a Thor Class A. There will always be others having a different opinion, no biggy. That's what makes our country strong.

I currently do not pull a "toad" and do my shopping prior to loading up and leaving. If I forgot to buy something ... Oh well, I can always get it before I hit my campground if its really needed. I select my cg's b4 hand and make reservations. I'm still afraid on pulling a "toad" so I check out local car rental areas and have them deliver at the camp site I will be at. No problems yet. And just loving it.
