If it is still available, I had great results with Zaino's All In One. It was a mild polisher, and wax, in one. I uses a buffer, as I applied this, I first spent 2-3 hours hitting bad areas with tar remover, and a few heavier scratched areas with aggressive down to medium rubbing compounds.
This was on a 98 Bounder gel, that had been neglected over the years... Cleaned up well:)!
