Connecting a Dometic to an external 40 lb tank

Hello! We have a class a RV that is stationary and we would like to hook up the Dometic fridge in it to an external 40 pound propane tank. Because the RV is unable to move we would not be able to driv...

So you are saying there is a way to connect an external tank to the RVs entire propane system? Because that would be good too... As of right now we've only been using the stove and there is still propane in the on board tank but we would like to use the fridge and I know eventually the onboard tank is going to run out...
