Consignment...Seller won't budge off of asking price.

Would you be happier if the seller listed it for 50K and then you negotiated the price down to 45K? Smiling while thinking you just saved 5K!

When I want to sell something, I don't play games. I set a firm price, take it or leave it. I set what I think is a reasonable price, usually lower than the going market price to almost assure a sale to someone.
