Contemplating a Change to Class A from 5th Wheel

Am I correct in thinking that I can see the gross vehicle weight rating and gross combined weight rating in the specs, but I have to see how much the rig actually weighs to figure out how much room there is for stuff like water/gear and people? I've only found one brand that actually says you can take XX lbs of cargo.
