I bought mine new for 25% off MSRP. I think the massive immediate depreciation people talk about is not a fact when you negotiate properly. That large depreciation claim is based on MSRP. Having a new RV allows you to be the master of your maintainence history. I consider this to be an important reason to buy new.
My cost for repair over 3 years is zero. Other costs have all been associated with modifications, RV storage, maintenance that I have others do and tires (repair and replace) and of course insurance and registration. And there are the running costs.
