1. Is there room for 2 to sleep on them. Not really.
2. How comfortable are they? Not very. I do sleep on mine but I lay a memory foam pad over it first.
The cabover bed is more comfortable but I don't like climbing the ladder with my bare feet. If you're used to a comfy, easy to access TC queen sized bed, you will probably be disappointed. OTOH, Born Free has optional twin sofa/beds that incline. Check out their web site.
