I happened to watch an episode of Extreme RVs on the TV the other night. Super, multi-million dollar luxury coaches. The builder said they get their granite either 1/8" or 1/4" thick, applied to plywood and they do a bullnose on it. All the appearance of a thick piece but 20% of the weight.
