Don't know how cheap of a fix you will find. I have an '07 Winy vista, and the countertops were garbage. A thin backer of dense fiberboard, with a microscopically thin plastic foil covering. I pulled them all and made replacements with furniture grade particle board, and a high end laminate. Materials for everything, including kitchen, bath, dining table and nightstand, ran about $300 bucks. For a few hundred more, any decent cabinet shop could do the same thing for you. Since I was starting over, I also installed a corian double bowl kitchen sink, and a new stainless steel bath sink. It was nice to see the crappy factory sinks hit the garbage can, where they belonged.
