I installed a brush guard/cowcatcher on my pickup to protect it when animals ran in front of me and it has saved me expensive repairs several times! So my question is do they make them for motorhomes ...

I would like one. To protect against minor collisions of any sort. The front is just fiberglass, so any bump will be expensive damage.
The F53 is nothing more or less than the F-550 with forward controls. So the same frame rails are available. Just hiding behind the front cap.
I may get bored some day and build my own. All I really want is a bumper with steps to shunt cars and to stand on for cleaning the windshield.
