Crossing the boarder at Buffalo

As others have said, too many variables. The worst we have seen was late evening, 8pm or so on the last day of a weekend or long weekend, when Canadians are returning from our cross border shopping trips. It took three hours one long weekend about 3 years ago. but could be as little as a couple of minutes.
If crossing on a weekend, try for earlier in the day before Canadians start returning home from there weekly shopping trips.
