That is why I always carry a 40 foot piece of nylon rope with a wooded handle that can be tied to the throttle at the pump. That way, if the fuel pedal goes, I can tie the rope to the throttle, and control the throttle with the rope. Have to prop up the mattress platform a bit to do this.
