Cummins engine dies and then !!!

Sounds similar to an issue we had with our 02 horizon on a freightliner chassis. After being camped in Moab for 2 weeks,tried to start coach on Sat morning to head home. Turned key to on,no dash warning lights, no alarms. Tried to start anyway. cranked, but wouldn't start. Not sure where to start, started probing all the fuses in the fuse and relay center, front of firewall. lots of fuses in there, but about halfway thru them, with the ignition switched on, suddenly heard the low air and jacks down alarms. Went inside, all warning lights were lit, and the Cat fired up. Went back out, wiggled fuse, engine quit. Bottom line, can't drive it. After releasing fuse block from firewall, found one of the wires going to that fuse had no slack at all. Hard part was finding the release tabs to get those connectors out of the fuse box. Then rearranged them in the harness a bit for a little extra length, squeezed the female receptors a bit tighter,and put it together.That was in 05 I believe, ok since. Just thought I would share my lucky find that fine day. Hope this helps, wishing you some luck, Ed
