Our 2006 5.9 Cummins pickup had a little case of the misfires last winter in a Utah snowstorm - stopped at a Flying J to hole up for the night. The front of the truck was completely iced over, and the air filter indicator was in the red - we parked up and camped for the night. In the a.m. the heat of the engine had melted off the icing and the engine ran fine.
So - check your simple stuff - air first (plugged filter? unlikely at this time of year but easy to check) - then move on to fuel - like the other posters have said -
