We had this same problem with our 350 ISC, we finally found a bad ground on the ECU was what was causing it.
we would change fuel filters and get a few miles and it would do it again.
First things first, change both the chassis and the engine filters cut them open see if they are/were clogged.
Next, turn the key to the run position for 3 minutes, turn it off, do that cycle 3 or 4 times to prime the system and fill the filters.
If that cures the problem you are done, if not, place a jumper between the engine and the ECM, which is located behind and to the rear of the engine fuel filter on the right side of the engine.
run the engine and shake the wire harness that goes to the ECM see if that causes the engine to sputter. If it sputters, remove the multi pin connector and inspect for any thing abnormal. clean with a good electronic cleaner and re-install. we chased this problem for 2 years with our coach, but we found it and learned a big lesson that you get for free.
Our cure was to remove the ECM and clean the corrosion from the mount studs and the engine block, preserve and reinstall. it has run smooth ever since.
