My neighbor, who RV'd for many years, gave RVing up after his wife passed away. Two or so years later, he met a woman who he really likes, and vice versa. After about 6 months, he decided to get another RV; a 37' Class A. He bought it from a dealer, and when he gave the dealer his DL to do a test drive, the guy couldn't believe what he was reading. My neighbor was 88 years old!
I also just read a thread on another RV forum the other day, where the forum member bought a new (Class A) rig from a dealer in N.C., and was disappointed with them since there were so many things that needed fixing, right off the bat. He mention in his post that he was 82 years old, and ready to hit the road.
So with good physical health, and a sharp mind, then yes, the age doesn't matter so much.
