Thinking of buying first motorhome at 73...anyone here do anything crazy like that?

Doesn't matter what anyone else has done. It matters if you feel OK with it.
There are some folks out there who shouldn't be driving MHs at any age and there are those who are good with it.
Do you believe it's a good idea? And do the people closest to you agree? Then go for it.
If you or everyone else you know has serious thoughts about it, then talk to your doctor and/or take a driving session and see what the instructor thinks. Then make your decision.
I say that having seen some people refuse to accept that driving any vehicle isn't a good idea. It's not about the age, it's about the abilities.
