Curious....anyone buy a motorhome in their 70's
Thinking of buying first motorhome at 73...anyone here do anything crazy like that?

Do you believe it's a good idea? And do the people closest to you agree? Then go for it.
If you or everyone else you know has serious thoughts about it, then talk to your doctor and/or take a driving session and see what the instructor thinks. Then make your decision.
I say that having seen some people refuse to accept that driving any vehicle isn't a good idea. It's not about the age, it's about the abilities.
I had an uncle in his late 90's who never accepted, being unable to drive safely anymore and couldn't even drive his golf cart all that well. Kid finally took the car away from him and he just passed away recently at 104. Nothing was really wrong with him, he just shut down one day and called it quits. Remembering back, I don't think he ever was all that good of a driver when I think about it.
