Many years ago I purchased from a private seller a class A. He had installed, in both pilot/co-pilot seats, an unusual item.
They were seat covers that had several hundred marble-size wooden balls that were tightly connected together with flexible plastic or metallic cord of some kind. These covers fitted well over the entire seat and backrest.
It was the MOST comfortable seating we had ever experienced in a motor home!
Plus, it kept our rumps and backs off of the original seat covering material thereby keeping a layer of air between the seats and us.
Over several years there was no noticeable wear and tear in the original seat fabric.
