We bought a Georgie Boy Landau new in July 2007. By the end of 2009, the outer surface of the two captains chairs was flaking off. Georgie Boy (Coachmen) said to take it up with Flexsteel as it was out of warranty (I understand that position entirely.) Flexsteel "had never heard of this problem before" but was willing to sell us new covers at about $300 each. Multiple contacts with proof of many other owners having the same issue had no effect.
The recliner, made by a different company but with color matched vinyl and a synthetic leather, still looks brand new.
I know that Flexsteel does not care, but I nor anyone I have influence with, will ever buy a Flexsteel product.
