The cover numbers don't tell much as far as I know.
The housing numbers are probably there but caked in heavy oily dirt.
Was yours built on the E350 chassis or the E450/"E-SuperDuty" chassis?
The E350s all got the Dana 70, usually the D70-2U but some got the D70-HD.
If its the heavier E450/E-SuperDuty chassis, it would have come with a dull Dana 80, or possibly a modified Dana 80, aka Dana 78, which is a Dana 70 differential in the Dana 80 housing, which is what all the newer E450s have. Difference is ring gear size.
