This is on a "93", with no pictures, we have no idea what he's working with really. that's the break year for the change to 134A. If it is labeled a 93 but built in 92 or 91, it could have screw on connections, not 134a connections or the 134A adapters to 1/4 flare r12 fittings. Any auto ac repair shop can tell him what he needs to fix it.
