Depending on the A/C there are low pressure, high pressure and temperature switches in the line to the A/C from the relay
in my case it was the wire from the Temperature switch to the clutch.
But no gas in system... Or too much. and it won't power the clutch.
Even when using a jumper to make the clutch engage, the system would not cool. I'm guessing there is no refrigerant in the system, and I can't get it to take refrigerant from a DIY kit either.
I'm guessing the issue with it taking refrigerant is one ome of two things: valve stem in the service port is bad, or there is s blockage near the service port.
The next issue is where the refrigerant went that used to be in there. I'm considering just taking it to a professional, and having it all done correctly.
