I had the same problem when someone tried to steal the stereo out of my Honda Accord. They did over 800 dollars in damage to the vehicle and destroyed the stereo trying to remove it. They ended up getting caught walking out of the parking garage with a half dozen cassettes. They agreed to testify against the rest of the gang and got off with probation.
