Deadwood SD to Cody WY

We have pulled 14/14A several times in all of our coaches and it is steep, also there is not a lot of shoulder and nowhere to pull over if you do have issues, so if you are unsure of your rig or climbing steep grades I would highly recommend Hwy16. If you take Hwy 16 there is also a shortcut turnoff in Ten Sleep going north that takes you up to Basin and Greybull, then west into Cody on Hwy 14.

Hwy 16 has a couple of steep sections but there are also passing lanes and more like an interstate vs. a country two-lane road.
