As my wife looks for a used class A on line, she notices when she finds 1 she likes they have example of monthl payments. Is this a good starting point or ignore this completley.

Yeah forget the advertised monthly payment. Concentrate on finding the right floor plan from a good manufacturer. Then work on the price you’re willing to pay for it. If it’s from a dealer, there is plenty of room for them to come off their asking price.
