Dealer never put TITLE in my name, am I stuck??

I would run the vin, see who's name is on the title, and go to them. Explain to them what happened, get them to put in for a duplicate title, let them sign it and take it to DMV. would work if still in their name. If you know someone at the clerks, they can get you the information. Would be cheaper than a lawyer.
