I wholeheartedly agree with your take on this matter. Maybe I don't quite understand others' beliefs that we need to support locally. Sure, there's some need to consider that but not blindly so. After all, I don't feel the public needs to show or prove to rv dealers their loyalty. Rather the rv dealers should show some sign that they are willing to do business with you even though you found a better deal elsewhere. That's the nature of business.
